Hello everyone I drove my car yesterday an it was fine, today I got in it an must of activated the sterring lock thing now I can't turn the ignition at all please any help I tried wiggling the sterring nada

please i come to this forums looks for advice any way i think i got the sterring in the locked mode an cant get out

 

Try a different key if you have one......see if that helps.

 

The lock cylinder itself may have worn to the point that it's not going to work, and if that is the case, you can replace it. It's not terribly expensive. A little lubrication and jiggling the key may free it, but probably that is just a short temporary fix.

 

Thank you for the reply I have used wd40 no works I don't have an original key....is there a way u can get it unlocked

 

While trying to turn the key, turn the steering wheel HARD in one direction and then the other if that one didn't work. Sometimes they get stuck in a weird angle and you have to force it out.
