Mysterious hose where does it go? Pic Included
I was searching for vac leaks today and did find a few, mostly hose clamps needing tightened BUT I did also find this mysterious hose leading to nowhere. It looks to be part of the PCV system to me. I cannot locate where it begins but it comes out above the turbo then elbows downward toward the road, at least thats how I found it. I repositioned it for the pic. When the engine is running this hose does have a farily strong vacuum. It looks to have been cut at the end, not torn.
I also decided to run Seafoam through the intake and I do seem to have a bit more power. If it was the Seafoam or tightening the hose clamps or both I don't know but it is purring!
Also, one more thing I was hoping to eliminate but didn't is the turbo slightly jerking when pushed very hard at high rpms.

Looks to me like the hose that runs from the pcv over to the heater vlv at the base of the clean air pipe. I could be wrong how some ever from the orientation but that is what it looks like. How old are your spark plugs?
I'm not sure how old the plugs are, I've only had the car since August, and I haven't yet given it a tune up because it does run well. Maybe I should.Which plugs are recomended for it, or should I say, I do enjoy taking full advantage of the cars power so which plugs should I put in it?
It's a 95' 850 turbo wagon

Depends who you ask on the plug issue. Oem are good for the turbo cars and so are Champion copper, I use the Champion copper's but I change them more often then I'll admit. It depends how you drive and how tuned or not your car is. Oem gapped to spec should last you a long time.
That is the hose that goes to the intake infront of the turbo. Remove the hose from the air mass sensor to turbo inlet and you will see where that hose was supposed to be. Looks also like maybe the recall was not done.
Thanks, I'll check it out as soon as possible. I don't know what it is but the turbo seems to jerk intermittently at high revving or when passing at 65 mph. Also the turbo guage will go almost up to full then quickly move back down to 3/4 at full throttle and you can feel it in the car.
Almost sounds like a boost leak or torn or cracked hose. That line in the pic looks like the vertical hose is longer than it should be to connect to the heater valve, as if done on purpose.
