Default Mystery Fluid

My car has been leaking some kind of clear oily fluid from the front of the car. I can see it dripping out of the middle hole of the black plastic gaurd under the radiator, but from above I can't see anything leaking. The odd thing is it doesn't do it all the time, it seems to leak out about every other day, and when it does leak there is quite a bit of it on the driveway. It doesn't seem to leak when running or right after shutting it off, I only see the puddle after it has sat for a while. I don't seem to be losing any fluids, which is the frustrating part. The color is throwing me off too, I have put a white paper towel under the leak and the fluid does not show any color, which leads me to think coolant as I use Zerex which is almost clear in color, but then again I haven't seem much of a drop in the resevoir. Any ideas?? If not I guess I'll have to pull the plastic and find out what's behind it.

Yeah it is a turbo. I did crawl under today to take a look, and it seems like the lower radiator hose may be leaking. I didn't atually see a leak, but the clamp is completely rusted.

Or the neighbor you argued with the other day is trying to revenge, by taking a leak right under the car at 3 in the morning to make you feel confused, puzzled, and lost..... You haven't pissed off anyone in your family recently, have you....? If so, he/she may be pissing your car off.....

(Had a long day[X(])

Sorry about the silly possibility scenario above.

If Zerex coolant is clear, then it is probably the coolant. Clean engine oil/brake fluid should leave amber colour on a paper towel, and the tranny fluid is red, the washer is blue, PWS fluid uses ATF (red), so it may be the time that you do a good tune up on the cooling system. And I do not believe the battery fluid would escape in such manner.

Also these intercoolers have a little pin hole in them.
If some oil builds up in the intercooler it will drain through the hole.
