Someone please help me, I bought my 96 850 GLT about a month ago and have been trying to get the motor back together and just noticed the other day that my ECM is missing. Can anyone please tell me which computer I'm supposed to have in there or show me a pic or something; I'm so lost!!!! It's a 96 850 GLT n/a 5 speed. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks...

Your car is 5 speed manual and doesn't need transmission module.
So you are OK.

 

Ok, so what engine module do I need? The jackass I bought the car from took it out of the car. Thanks in advance for your help. Oh, and can I get the ECM out of a car that's an automatic as long as it's not a turbo?

 

They have a separate automatic transmission module! So if you get any N/A ECU you should be ok!
