need help- 1993 850 GLT heater problems

blower motor/fan sometimes doesn't turn on
my heater is working sporadically.. i bought this car 2 weeks ago and the heater works maybe 33% of the time. sometimes the fan won't spin at all, and other times the heater works perfectly fine..
i used the diagnostic box (b-1) under the hood and got the following codes
1-2-5
1-2-6
1-3-5
2-1-1
2-2-1

2-3-6

4-1-3

1-2-5 ....... Pass. Side Temp. Sensor Circuit Shorted To Ground

1-3-5 ........................ No Engine Temp. Frequency Signal
2-1-1 .............. Driver’s Side Damper Motor Position Sensor
Circuit Open Or Shorted To Power
2-2-1 ................. Pass. Side Damper Motor Position Sensor
Circuit Open Or Shorted To Power
2-2-2 ................. Pass. Side Damper Motor Position Sensor
Shorted To Ground
2-3-6 ..................... Recirculation Damper Motor Position
Sensor Shorted To Ground
3-2-1 .............. Driver’s Side Damper Motor Active Too Long

Well, if I were you, I would visit the junkyard and replace the controller. But before I did that, I would probably pop it out and jiggle all the wires and make sure it looks good. I doubt that'll help it.
all those items aren't separately shorted to ground, as I am sure you know. The problem is in the brain, which is the only place these things are combined.
