i just traded for a 1993 850 GLT ,i am new to Volvos,its the first i have driven ,everything on it works and the body is in great condition,it does have 211000 miles on it,is this to many to be dependable? it has been regularly serviced and timming belts replaced, give me a quick over view of this model ,someone told me that the auto trans is weak in this model ,is this true?

The 1993 had a weak trans but it would have been replaced already.

They aren't that bad look in the 850 sectin and you should be able to find out much info on them.
