Default Need Help Removing Body Parts

Well my daughter had her first mishap behind the wheel last week but fortunatley she didn't cause any damage to the other vehicle. I don't know how it happened, but the only contact made to the other vehicle which was a pickup was to the front tire. I cant explain how she kept from contacting metal, but I'm not complaining. Anyway the damage to her car can be seen in the picture. She broke out the parking light and the bumper cover and valance are pulled loose. I can move the cover forward and back about an inch in either direction. What I need is a diagram and instructions for removing and replacing the parking light, bumper cover and valance. Any help or advice is appreciated in advance.

I haven't messed with the corner lights much, so I can't be 100% sure. But you want to check if the housing is broken. If you look at the other side, there is a slide pin and if you pull it, the corner will pop right out. As far as replacing it, if the housing/holder is fine, then I believe you can pop it right in.

As to the bumper, I have never done it, but I assume it's just a matter of finding all the clips and undoing them. It should be a very straightforward process. The only thing I don't know is if there are rivets under the headlight wipers, and looking at your pictures, it looks like there may very well be some.

Definitely glad no one was hurt. As others have said, it looks to be an easy fix. If I remember right, there are either rivets or high torque hex head fasteners under the bumper cover.

Thanks but she only broke the lens. The wiring is OK and the lamp still works. A diagram outlining the removal and installation of the parking light lens, bumper cover and valance is what I really need.

Well I finally inspected the damage up close and personal Saturday. After replacing the broken parking light lens I crawled under the front bumper for a closer look. Every hole that a screw is attached to is torn out. Top and bottom. What I wound up doing until I can find a reasonable priced replacement, I put oversized washers under the torx screws and cinched them down. Its actually pretty tight now. I don't think the bumper is going to fall off but it won't take another jolt either. There is no other structural damage other than the plastic. The gravel shield was loose from the clips and the two bolts that hold it to the frame were either loose or missing. I replaced both with tie-wraps..good and snug now. The plastic filler under the headlight lost a clip so I fastened it back down with a sheet metal screw. The little grills where the fog light would be are cracked but intact. All in all a temporary fix gone well.

Any opinions on the one piece replacements advertised online? Just wondering if they are anygood or not. They seem inexpensive and don't look bad. [/align]

What one piece replacements are you talking about (what part are you referring to?)?

Check this link

http://www.carpartswholesale.com/cpw...er_covers.html

They sell the bumper cover with the valance built-in as a single unit...or so it seems.
