Hi, this boot sits right under the throttle and connects to the manifold. It has a smaller tube running up to the tree above and another big port hooking to parts of the intake system in the rear. As you can tell, my vocabulary isn't the best, and I'd love a name for this:

 

Intercooler Hose. Part number: VOL-9161093 at FCPEURO.COM. Stick with OEM - don't cheep out with aftermarket. The intake system is too important to your Volvo's happiness.
