Hello everyone, just bought an 850 5 sp in great condition with 150K miles. I had one like it 12 or 13 years ago but had to give it up when we needed a van. Just happened across this car, and I didn't really need it, but fell in love with it all over again.

First question, can anyone tell me if the harness is in place to install a power passenger seat into a car that currently has a manual passenger seat?

Second, do you know if the auto climate control panel harness is in place for a car which currently has manual control heat/ac?

..and as everyone that ever is lucky enough to happen upon this site probably says, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!

Not 100% sure but I would say that the harnesses are not in place for the upgraded seat and A/C controls. Don't know why they would run them if they weren't going to be used.

 

Sometimes connections are in place even if not used to reduce the number of stocked harnesses.

 

I found the answer to my auto climate control question. It looks like there are at least 4 temperature sensors that aren't present in the non auto system.

Still looking for an answer on the seat question if anyone knows, or has installed a power seat in place of a manual one.
