Default New 850 T5 Owner (Hopefully) + Question

Hey guys, dropping by to say hi!

If everything plays out well on Monday (inspection day..dun dun dunnnnnn), I'll be the proud new owner of a nearly flawless 1994 850 T5 with 111,000 miles!

Few pictures of it for those curious:

Now, quick question regarding my headlight wipers/washers. My driver side one sprays OVER the car, hitting the car behind me (not to mention doesn't sit properly on it's rest), where as the passenger one just wipes (no squirting). Is this fairly common, as well as a relatively easy fix?

Cheers!

The headlight wiper motors commonly go bad. I unplugged mine and left them in rest position.

I did the same with mine, but I have also fixed the ones on my wifes car. To check the washer system. follow the hoses back from the headlight washer to the fluid tank in the trunk. The one that does not work probably has a blocked hose and the pressure is causing the other one to overspray.

Alright, I'll take a look at that soon. My last question is my driverside wiper doesn't sit properly. Is there any way to adjust that?

What do you mean by nit sitting right? In the park position?
There is a nut you can loosen to move the arm.

the blade will sit halfway through it's cycle (as in covering the headlight), while the passenger one rests in it's "idle" position (take a look at the front of your R in your sig - that's what I mean idle).

I would unplug them. Then reposition the one thats off and leave them unplugged. Fold up the plastic cover by where the arm attaches to the motor. Then there is a 8mm nut loose it then wiggle the arm some and it should come loose. Reposition and tighten.I bet the side you are having problems with is a bad motor. Very common.
