Default New addition to my family.

My search is finally over. Both the stars and moon and planets all aligned and I finally came across my dream car, AND had the funds to purchase it.

This morning I picked up my 1994 850 T-5 (with 1995 tail lights). 100,000 miles (164,000km), 2 mature owners, full service history and in excellent condition. Paid $3500 for it, which is ridiculosly cheap. I'll get $3500 selling my 850 N/A wagon.

I've spent the day changing fluids and giving him some TLC. I've named him Eric.

Everyone, meet Eric. Eric, everyone.

Previous owner said it keeps running rich and he couldn't figure out why. I fixed it in 30 minutes with a new thermostat. It was stuck open.

I have an extra set of those wheels if you are interested.

BTW people swap post 95 tail lights onto pre 95 850s?

Brick850: Nice find indeed! You sure you didn't photo-shop those pics? Looks like it just rolled off the showroom; very nice! Congrats.

What size are those "swirl" turbo wheels? Are they all 6.5" X 16" or are some 6.0 X 15"?

My 855 N/A and S70 GLT both have 6.0 X 15" I believe. The GLT has the six spoke wheel like pictured.

The wheels are 6.5 x 16 Columba's. They were standard on all T-5's here.

Beautiful car! I wish I could find a T-5 sedan that nice for that price! Great find!

Yes, the '95+ taillights and filler panel are just a bolt on swap for the earlier 850 sedans. Just like the V70 upper tails onto an 850 wagon. I need some V70 upper tails on my 855R....*sigh*
