Default New Code, same problem ! Misfire

Ok well after driving the car for 2 days , the problem is still here. Im still getting a random misfire, its almost like the car has been shut off for less then a second and then turned back on.. It only does it once in a while.

Well today I was able to run codes, I got a code for random misfires , misfire in cyl 2,5,4,3 but not Cyl 1 for some reason. I also got a code P0335 crank sensor code . The wierd thing is that the car can idle for an hour and not misfire and then as soon as I give it some gas it will have the one second misfire.

Oh this is after I spent 200 bux at the dealer buying plugs, wires, cap, rotor and a fuel filter. The car had a misfire before but was worse..

Help me before I call the Junk yard to pick up the car....JK but help

If you got a code for the crank sensor I would go there next.
There might be a intermitant fault with it causing the misfire.

Im just wondering if the crank sensor would cause the random misfire... I plan to head to the junk yard in the morning and getting a crank sensor as there are 5 volvo 850s there. I just hate to spend alll this money only to buy something that its not ..

also is replacing the sensor a straight swap ?

Yes it is a straight swap.
If you still feel something after that I would do a compression test.

I was looking in my Haynes book and it says that the Crank sensor is near the area of the cap and rotor.. Is this where its located?? maybe its possible that I may have pulled a wire for that sensor when I did my tune up.

I found the sensor on a 96 850 at the junk yard.. I threw it on and after driving 30 miles no misfire or jerking. I went to autozone and deleted the codes and turned off the CEL. 3 miles and now Cel yet..... It also seems to have a lil more low end powah.
