After roughly 8 years since my last Volvo (been playing with diesel Mercedes, Jeeps, Dodge pickups, and MINI Coopers in that time), I'm finally back to having a Volvo back in my stable. This time, I decided to stray away from RWD Volvos and give the FWD platforms a shot.

I recently purchased a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon with 180k. It is a California car and I am planning on going on a road trip through the 48-States before I bring it back home to Alaska. Still undecided whether I'll drive or ship the car once my road trip is done, though.

Glad to be back in the Volvo community, and I hope to be an active part of it for quite a while!

Coolant a bit low?

Thank you! Yes, the coolant was a bit low (loose hose clamp on the upper radiator hose). I went ahead and flushed the system out and put the blue Volvo stuff in while I was at it.
