i just bought a wagen 96 850 love tha car
drove it home from las vegas to utah about 400 miles turn the car off and wont start again. i can get it sarted if i puch the gas peddle to the floor it will start but just turning the key will not go just turns over and help would be great
also i was wonderen were to get stuff for these cars how is ipd are they priced well or is there better

 

What kind of stuff? for your car?

IPD is pricey but have good parts.

Nothing is cheap for Volvo, so don't think your going to buy a lot for $1k like you can for a Honda. Think I can buy maybe one thing or maybe a couple.

 

For the starting problem is the check engine light on?

 

Another good place for replacement parts and some upgrades is FCP Groton. I use them as well as IPD and others

 

i had that happen with my 93 850, it turned out to be the MAF sensor had gone bad. if your check engine light is on that will let you know where the problem is.

 

no lights are on my dash i thought it could of been a bad cap rotor or wire so i replaced all those and still not working im not getting any spark at all from my coil
i tried to ground out the coil wire on a bolt and got nothing so what tells that to spark any ideas

 

Check the plug for the cam sensor.
