Default New seats in my 850 turbo

Finished these Saturday and installed. Im riding in luxury now.

Yes, I did these myself.

Yes, this is "Suede" or in actual terms synthetic suede, it is like microfiber.

I do upholstery for a living and that looks like a great job. looking to do about the same thing to mine that is the r-design seat setup right....

Thanks! I also do (Did) it for a living. I work part time at a shop, and usually do 3-4 sets a year of full custom stuff a year. I used to do upholstery on high end private jets, then decided to be an engineer so its only part time now.

Yes, that is the R-design, although the R's look to have a slightly different pattern as far as upholstery goes. I wanted to get them done before it go really cold out so it spend 14 hours on them Saturday and got them done.

Thanks for disclosing that you did that for a living at one point in time.

That looks like the '96 and '97 850 R layout other than the seats in the R are actually different shape.

yea when you see work like that it usually is not a diy'er just starting out.... that really is great work...... I am going to do the same thing winter or this spring.... also going to redo my headliner in tan synthetic suede I dont want to have to change any of the hand holds or anything.....
