Default New Starting issue

Ok, this only happens every 30 or so starts, but I can turn the engine over and it will sound like it is starting, only it will rpm down and stall. I try to start and I get a type issue you would have with a flooded car....I wait 5 or so min and bang...starts with no problem. Ive cleanded the ICV.....but it ticks very loud at times....any Ideas?

when was the last tune?
A bad wire from coil to distributor can result in same symptoms. Try to reroute it and that might keep the leaky spot from arcking for troubleshooting purposes.

that will fix a rough idle, his odd random hard starts are interesting though...

might be time for a fuel filter.

Side note on the coil issue, back when i had my jeep i went through 3 of them before i realized it was a bad connection, sprayed in some contact cleaner and it was as good as new.

So, long story short, since it is intermittent you can go through and check all the wires and might as well do a tune up while you are at it like mentioned above.
