Default newbie help

Hi, I am new here, but not new to forums, I drive a 2000 Neon, with some mods, but my GF drives a 96 850. The problem we are having is that her battery is constantly dieing. The battery is about 2 months old, and was tested as holding a charge. The problem is that she works about 2 miles from where we live and therefore doesn't drive it much, it will be totally dead some mornings, sometimes the lights will work, just not enough power to start it, sometimes starts fine. I was hoping for some guidance, other than that it drives fine, which leads me to believe the alternator is ok.

Than ks for any help you can give me.

Shaun

Check and make sure the glove box door is closing all the way and the light is not staying on.Also make sure that one of the door locks aren't bad.If one of the front door locks are bad the footwell lamp will stay on.If one of the rear door locks are bad the little doos safety light will stay on on the back of the door. Those are the most common problems.check those things out and let me know.

thanks for the tip, sorry it took so long to get back, been real busy. We think we found the problem to be a faulty trunk latch. The latch is corroded and won't always catch properly, your advice on the door locks going bad led my GF to try the trunk, and it hasn't happened since, so we think this was the problem. Thanks for the advice.
