ok, done. in the morning i find out if there are any leaks...
first of all, the radiator is so hard to get out through the top it IS better to get it out through the bottom, turbo or NA.

Dude, it was a direct replacement. the fittings for the tranny fluid were included too. that volvo mechanic was surely trying to make a sale...the shop mechanic didnt even want money. earlier in the day I had been given Houston rodeo tickets, so i gave him two, which he appreciated.

I have already driven well over 1k miles on the radiator and absolutely no leaks or heating issues!!!
