Default oil pan connector

I have the eng out of my 94 2.3l turbo and found this gunked connector on the front side of my oil pan. I did not disconnect anything from here, does any one know what it is?

Looks like the oil level sensor to me. Some 850's have it, some dont. Your pan or engine may have been replaced at some time.

That is the low oil level sensor. I believe all 93's and some early 94's had them.

I have no connector on my wire harness for it. I agree with Boxpin, I thinks the beast might have gotten a new eng or pan in the past.

Maybe the pan or the motor was left over from a 93 model.

If the rest looks good change the valves and put it back together and go.

And do your self a favor and do not run regular unleaded gas in it run premium in there and it will not happen again.
