OK, you guys can laugh
My wife and I are still getting used to the 850, we are so used to driving the Disco that we keep scraping the airdam under the front bumper as we are pulling into parking lots and stuff.
Man does this take some getting used to. It sits so low to the ground compaired to the trk.

See I grew up in farm country, always drove a Chevy 4x4 trk or a Buick, never anything remoately sporty or low slung.
I've never been a domestice car guy, and I never fit in because of this.
Always wanted a Rover, ever since I was 15.
After I had kids I wanted the safest car I could afford, now I finally have one. This '95 is way ahead of its time, side airbags, the "Latch" system for child restaints, 4-wheel ABS, and it rates better than the '98 Subaru Outback wagon that we were going to buy in crash tests.
And not only is the car a "sleeper", it pissed off my ex-wife, my '95 Volvo is a nicer car than her '07 G6 AND I dont have any car payments.
"How in the hell can you afford a Volvo!?" she askes. I just smile.

When I first got The Anvil I found it low but for the first little while I drove with the seat raised all the way up until I learned to get in and out with out smacking knees off of the wheel or bonking the skull off of the door frame.
Now I have set the memory for city cruising(low down M2)entry/exit(high M3) and highway(M1 - lazyboy type positioning - laid back with the road on my mind and my mind on the road)Gin and juice

Yes it has the "latch" system, the parts were included with the car and the owner had to install the anchors, on the back of the back seat near the top there is the spots where it fastens too. There are three nothes in the seat and a plastic cap that pops off and then the anchors screw into there.
It is in the owners manual.
We do not have the anchors but I am going to call Volvo and see where I can get them from, and I am going to ask them if they will send them to me for free. Hell, whats the worst that will happen, they say no?
