Are 100% sure you changed the right one? Did you change the wiring harness with it or is it a solder job?

i did it up untill the connector with a red clip thing after that the wires get spliced up into a bunch under a plastic covered thing (sad part is i left the old 02 with the adapter after the red locking piece at the shop i used last week so its gone now i'm gonna assume).

But yes to be safe i had the guy read my codes at volvo( i know him) so no changes nothing just a free reading and he told me it was the front most 02 sensor.

Default Bump - P0133 coming back on for me too

Cmon someone has had to fix this.

I replaced front bank 1, sensor 1, before-cat sensor with correct adapter and p0133 keeps coming back.

Well, on the way back from my last trip my cel popped a P0133 code. As always I reset the code and it came back last night, 300 miles later. I put about 3,500 miles on the car in the past 3 weeks. I was experimenting with different fuels while driving, not sure if that broke the camel's back or not.

Since I have had this car I've felt that I should be getting a little better gas mileage. Not that it's bad, just not as good as my sedan. So, I've been considering replacing the O2 sensors anyway. So today, with the light still on, I scanned the ECU and no code was found. Hmmmmm. So I scanned it two more times and it finally gave the code again. My guess is that the sensor is working most of the time, it's just about to go out.

I'll replace it in the next few days and see if my mileage goes up. I have 2 used OEM sensors in my parts bin. I'm trying to talk myself into buying the tool but may just barrow the one from Auto Zone.
