Default p0133 Slow to Respond

Hey! New member here, Just purchased a 1996 Volvo 850 Wagon Turbo. Im in the process of getting it registered and was doing an emissions test, and got that code thrown. Is the o2 sensor bad? Or can this be a culmination of problems? I have googled it out and it looks like a cheap fix, but I want to see if Volvos get some special treatment.

Thanks!

If you just bought it, reset the code, run fresh gas through there (may have to reset it again) and see if comes back after at least a half tank of good gas.

Then if it comes back on, do the O2 sensor; go with OEM; volvo's are finicky about that...

Code was reset, and there was no code thrown when i brought it in, the test discovered it. I put premium in and drove for about 15 miles after warming the car up. is the o2 sensor difficult to do on this car?

when of if your going to do this by yourself , start the car and let it get hot ,then remove the O2 sensor . the reason is because when its cold the O2 sensor is like its welded in the threads , heat it up and it should come out nice and easy !

A bad O2 sensor usually shows high NOS output
