Default P0440 code and a turbo problem on my '96

Hello,
So I got my codes checked at Auto Zone and it came up p0440. I am not exactly sure what this means and if it is something that needs to be fixed asap or if it is driveable?

Also,
I got my oil changed a while back and they said i was leaking oil or somehting from the turbo which means it is going out. The car runs fine and there is no unusual smoke so i dont know what to do about this? IS there anything else it could be?

Usually the P0440 code means I have a vacuum leak. Either the gas cap was not put on tight (3 clicks) or the vacuum elbow has come off my PTC valve near the turbo.

Not sure about the leaking turbo. Someone else will have to tell you what is bad as far as that goes.

Common oil leak on the turbo cars is steel oil return line that runs from the bottom of the turbo to the back side of engine block.

IPD has a kit for resealing it here:
