Default Parking Brake Adjustment

How do I adust the park brake on a 95 850 turbo SW? I read the manual but it does not tell you what type of tool is used to tighten the brakes. In addition I cannot find the tightning screw thru the disk. I tightened the hand brake lever in the car but that was not enough. Thanks

I used a flat headed screw driver. I forget which direction (up or down) to turn the adjustment **** to tighten the system up. The hole in the disk should be in the 12:00 position for adjustment. A flashlight might be useful.

An excerpt from a "trustworthy" publication:

1) Remove rear wheels. Rotate disc until adjustment hole is directly over adjustment screw between brake shoes. Adjust brake shoes by turning adjustment screw upward until brake disc can no longer be rotated. Adjust shoes by backing off screw 5 notches.

2) If there is play between cable & lever, fine adjustment can be made at parking lever. Full parking is achieved between 2-8 clicks.

Good luck,
