Parking Brake Adjustment Screw

Parking Brake Adjustment Screw
Last month I replaced the rotors and pads on all four corners of my dad's '97 850 N/A with an automatic transmission. When get the rears discs off, I was having some issues with the parking brake shoes and not being able to adjust them. I could never find the adjustment screw on the assembly (despite trying to find it on one side for an hour before forcing the rotor off with a hammer, and even with the rotor off I didn't see it), but I did read about the adjusting screw in the center console and played with that a bit to loosen the brake. Once I had the new rotors on, I went back to tighten up the brake but the adjustment screw now doesn't do anything. It feels like I backed it out all the way because I can turn it both directions and it seems to never gets any tighter or looser. I really don't want to rip apart the center console only to find out the screw is a worm gear type of screw and it is really only to be used for fine adjustments. Thoughts?
My dad never uses the parking brake, but since I did the work on the car it annoys me that I didn't get things back to the way they should be.
PS does anyone have a pic of the adjustment screw on the shoe assembly? It also annoys me that I couldn't find the thing even though I know its there.

After a bit more searching, I think I found what I am looking for. Here is a pic I found on a write up on changeing the parking brake shoes.

Apparently, the gear type wheel is the adjuster? If so, I feel silly since I was looking for an actual screw to do the ajdusting.
