Default Parts interchangeability

So thanks to all the good info on this site I have determined my 96 850 turbo wagon is a good beater, eventual parts car. My car has enough things that need attention that I am looking at getting one in better shape and cannibalizing my current car. I have my eye on a 97 850 turbo wagon that I am going to look at and see if its worth grabbing. What I am wondering is what major pieces from my 96 will work on the 97. Are the turbos the same between 96 and 97? I assume that the exhaust and intake pieces are interchangeable.

If this works out I hope to get a nicer wagon and have alot of spare pieces.

Everything should be the same except the turbo system if on is a T5 and the other is a LPT.

I thought that the motors in these cars didn't change much until 98 when the model went from the 850 to the v70. I still have to go and have a look and make sure it isn't suffering from the same issues as my current wagon.
