Does the key turn in the lock?
If it does and you dont hear/feel it engage then you may need to take the cover/skin off the door to reach a rod inside the door that connects to the inside of the lock mechanisim and reconnect it as it may have popped off.
I dont believe it to be a common thing with the Bricks, but I know that older GMs tended to pop a handle or two.
