Please, if anyone can help me - I locked my 95'volvo850 with a remote and now I can't unlock it and deactivate the alarm. Sometimes I've had problems with the remote in the past: it didn't work every time I pressed the button to unlock. Now, no matter how many times and how hard I try, it wouldn't unlock and deactivate the alarm. The battery on the remote has been changed 2 months ago. When I press the button on the remote, a subtle "click-click-click-click" sound is heard from the remote, but nothing happens. I can't remember to hear that clicking sound before. Does any of your remote click too?

When I unlock the car with a key, the alarm goes off and I can't start the engine.[:@] The red light on the dash is constantly blinking. Unfortunately, I don't have the key to unlock the alarm under the bonnet.

Can anyone help me ? Is there any way to start the car ? Can I purchase a new remote from my local dealer and then teach it ? (it doesn't sound right, to be able to teach a new remote when the alarm is activated...)

Try unlocking the car like 3 times in a row before opening the door.
See if that disarms the alarm.
