What brand plugs and wires did you use? Did you replace cap & rotor?

Since you're new you should be informed that you're hijacking an old dead thread and when you post your NEW problem down at the bottom of page four of someone else's post the only people who are likely to see it are only the few people who are subscribed to the thread. It really limits who might be available to help you.

On the other hand, you start your own NEW thread with a good description of the problem in the "Title" and everyone is likely to see it and you're much more likely to get people who have something to say about your problem replying.

I have the pulstar plugs, also i havent done the cable, since there is no obvious misfiring. When you say cam and rotor, what do you refer to, are you talking about the distributor cap? Also i cant think of which rotor do you mean, i am a foreigner, dont know all of the us words for the parts.

Kiss4frog, thanks for the heads up, next time i have an issue, i will create a new one, just didnt want to bother too much, since i am new

I did a bit of research in one of the parts websites, and figured what did u mean by rotor. I have never replaced one, does it need to be adjusted, in a certain way, i did back in a days distributor replacement on a 88 dodge caravan and i had to out it certain way, it wasnt firing properly

It's no bother at all. This forum is here for you (us) to use to exchange information and your problem is as important as any other.

On you 850 the distributor isn't adjustable so the cap and rotor are parts that just get replaced and no adjustment is needed after replacement.
