i have not taken my car to replace my front driver side hub.i found out today that my wife will need to have a c-section this monday because our little girl decided to turn around once again.i am happy to be owning a volvo because of its reputation on safety.but is a bad wheel hub a safety concern? can it damage other parts?if so im going to the shop tommorow morning.cant be too safe when it comes to your child.i can no longer go above the speed limit on the highway and have the same driving style i now have.

How long has it been going bad? I know I have waited at least 6 or 7000 miles to change a wheel bearing that was making noise more than once and nothing bad happened.

 

maybe 500-800 miles...

 

You should be fine. Does the noise over power the radio yet? If not then just take it easy.
