Prosport Boost Gauge Installed
No really experince with them.....They should flow better then stock. maybe even have more surface area which is what your are ultimately achieving, by going to a cone. If you go the panel filter route, you will definitely want to add a forced injection hose for more air..... that will help a stock box a lot. there is also that little shield blocking the tube in the front of the car, where the stock box gets it's air from.....I see some guys cut it to force more air through the opening.
You mean where that hose kind of bends down, blocking air straight on and forcing it to shoot up the hose? I think I know what your talking about. I was thinking about even trying to find a fitting that I could put on there that would be larger and have a little bit of a scoop to it to force more air into it.

Where did you get the R ECU anyways?

In another post I explained how I currenltly am not boosting what I was at the beginning of last week due to some kind of leak. At the beginning of last week it was boosting 7-8 psi and I wanted to know if that is stock.
I just want to know what the T5-R should be boosting so I know what to shoot for to get my car back to stock pressure.
What you order is what you should get. If they say 16psi your boost gauge should read 16psi. Unless they are reffering to boost spiking at 16psi and say you only read 15psi.
if anything else, get a MBC or EBC like tech did and controll boost that way.
