Hi,
I am selling my wides 97 850 GLT turbo that gives off a puff of blue smoke from the tailpipe on start-up after car sets a while. Been doing it for quite a while.

Is this probably a turbo seal problem and what do I do to to remedy it.

The vent system might be clogged causing it to smoke.

 

Thanks...any site that woukd tell me how to clean the vest system?

The best bet usually is to replace the vent box and make sure all vacuum hoses are good.
check all vacuum lines really good espically the one in the induction hose just before the turbo.

 

Our 95 Turbo does the same thing, but only if it is parked at a slightly nose down angle
