Default pvc/blowby/crankcase pressure help

My 850turbo is blowing some pressure thru the oil cap and dipstick it shows smoke when the dipstick is out a little ...Do these cars have a pvc?
Would a clogged pcv cause the car to blow smoke out the tail?I would imagine its possible

I cant see why there wouldnt be a pcv...Ive seen mustangs put turbo/ superchargers on then have oil blowing out from everywhere cause theres no proper pvc.

I need a location on where mine would be
Thanks
dan

These cars have a PCV system located under the intake manifold.

Check the small hoses from the Vent box out.
One goes from the end of the intake by the steering pump to the induction hose.
They are known to clog.
Also the Vent box might be clogged.

Man Ive read so much since I posted this question.

1) can I test this oil box by blowing some compressed air somewhere w/out destroying anything?

The pcv system is retarded .....is there anyway to NOT pull the intake off?

also......is there an actual pcv somewhere??????? or is it just this big oil box thing?and all these hoses

You can blow Compressed air into the Dipstick tube and watch for it to come out the Oil cap(With cap removed of course)
If the Air comes out the cap hole the Box isn't clogged. But one of the lines still could be clogged.
No way to get the Vent box off without removing the intake.
No Valves(PCV) in the system either.

BTW: Do you have pics of your Mustang motor?

which port(s) did the codes come from? It could be an old code. If you reset them and they come back then they're legit.

A2 3-2-5 => Memory Failure... that doesn't sound good
A3 4-4-4 => No power supply to valves in hydralic unit.... don't worry about this unless your ABS light is on while driving
B1 4-1-1 => Passenger compartment fan overcurrent or fan siezed... if this code is legit then your fan is probably on its way out and should be cleaned or replaced.
B2 1-2-2 => Not sure

I would reset all the codes and see what comes back. With any luck none will come back except maybe the ABS code (A3).

A2-325 Memory loss (was battery dead)?
A3-444 No power supply to Pump motor

B1-411 Fan motor to much current. Most likely bad motor and resistor.

B2-122 Speed has not exceeded 35km/h Which is normal unless you drive the car then pull the codes if won't be there then.

Like info2x said clear all the codes and see what ones come back.

BTWAwesome car.

Thanks guys

There is a new battery,I dont know how new, maybe it was related......I just grabbed the car last week so I dont know history,Im schooling myself this month as I go.

The abs light goes on when u drive a little then goes away and back on.
The fan motor ...Me and my girl were pressing all the butttons and switches likie crazy ,testing both sides and the fan hesitated for a second one time in that process.I think we confused the car,we multitasked the hell out of it im sure.

This code,no power to pump motor abs thing, this could be a fuse or relay right? can I get a tip on where all the abs breakers/fuses/relays are?

YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME TO THINK OF IT... Im pretty sure I was looking at a volt guage in that computerized thing last night"it dont light up"...it said 20 and I thought it may have been the alternater.....Now im going out w/a flashliught

The ABS thing with the power to the pump might be the ABS module that is one of the codes that come up when the module goes bad.

Try clearing and see what comes bad then we can go from there.
I will bet the ABS module is bad.

The Dash shouldn't give Volts.
It should only give time and temp. Also if you have the Trip setup then it gives MPG and MPH as well.

OK your right. No voltage on trip meter thing.

How do I clear codes? disconnect battery? and hit brake pedal and horn for a miute or two?

What module are you talking about? The computer by the fuse panel? Or ...?
The pump?
