Question + I saw a non turbo spit fire from the exhaust
I have an 850 just like the one I saw except that one was a wagon. But his was an SLT - what's the difference? This guy was cruising and I saw him floor it and he took off. Personally my 850 has about 190 HP right now but this dude was shooting fire from his exhaust! So my question is, does it shoot fire simply because of how much power that car has? If so, how much HP does it take to do that? Because I want to build a racing non-turbo 850. Already did a stage 0 tune plus magnaflow catback.
Usually cars that can do that are set to run really rich and are able to run at a high RPM to be able to shoot fire like that.
They are running so rich what you see come out as fire is actually unburned gas from the fuel system.

What are the differences between the GLT and the base 850? I'm going to a junkyard so if there's some performance parts I could pull, I will. Sway bars or anything like that?

You should be able to swap the swaybars, but I think they are the same.
Edit: Hey s70driver....haven't seen you on in awhile.
My thinking is that this guy needs some serious help maintenance wise on his car.
Perhaps his PCV system is totally fubar'd and clogged.
