Default Question on Timing Components

I'm wanting to be frugal with tensioners, etc...wondering what the perils are to putting back the old tensioner (it weeped the slightest amount of oil when compressing)
tell me I'm a cheap a%&, bite the bullet, I don't mind. Always looking for a way to save buck, I can't help it.

The tensioner pulley feels very firm and solid. Idler pulley needs to be replaced. Auxiliary belt tensioner seems OK, Auxiliary idler pulley needs to be changed I think
(makes a little noise when I spin it fast, as does the timing idler pulley) Any constructive input is welcome, thanks

also...is MTC worth buying for mechanical parts? I noice IPD sells them at a fraction the cost of german parts.

I thought IPD is a little more expensive than others -

I use https://www.eeuroparts.com/

For instance they have 3 brand choices for this idler pulley

Definitely replace the tensioner and idler. Quite often its not the belt that fails, but rather the tensioner and idler which takes out the belt.

Check out FCP Euro, they have kits with a Conti belt, ilder and INA parts for about $70. You can skip the water pump if it looks to be in good shape, If its original (ahem, 25 years old?) it may be time and you can get a kit with a water pump as well.

Thanks guys...water pump already out, Hepu pump on the way from FCP.
I've been ordering ala carte, I already have both belts.
I'm going with eEuroparts. Good prices and German parts, makes me more comfortable.

I would only use the factory brand water pump from AISIN - they are bulletproof - I have seen too many other brands seize and throw the timing belt - with the obvious disaster that follows -

I definitely hear you, this one is German and got great reviews on FCP, so I'm trusting it...but thanks.
I did get all INA for everything else.
