Default Questions about my volvo 850.

So i have a 94 volvo 850 i am doing and wanting to do a couple things to my car and i was if you guys had any ideas about how to go about these things.

1. i am going to be running about 2000 watts i wanted to know what if anything is needed for this to work properly. plus the other extras like hids, under glow under the seats. i have a 10 farad capacitor i was thinking that would help some what.

2. i have no high beam bulbs so... i was thinking of putting some sort of accent light in there instead. like on the lexus gs300.

3. some cheap ways to get some power to my non turbo 850.

4. best way to tint my headlights and taillights or do they have the tint covers. but it has to be removable.

If you could help me with any of these things it would be greatly appreciated.

Please don't turn your Volvo into a Ricer.

Not much you can do to a non-turbo to get more power. If you want more power, sell it and buy a Turbo model. We have had 11 Volvo's in our family now and only my Mother In Law owns an non-turbo. My daughter test drove a non-turbo 850 once and said no way would she buy it. Ended up buying a turbo model that was not in near as good of condition, but way more fun to drive.

Underglow and tinted head/tail lights.

Do not install underglow. And DO NOT tint your headlights or your tail lights. I tinted my reverse light section but that has no effect on anyone else but myself. Tinting your head lights will greatly reduce your light output, creating a hazard to yourself, and tinting your tail lights will create a hazard to every other driver.

Power wise, the only thing you can really do to an NA to make it "faster", is an exhaust and air intake, and I'm not sure what gains you will see from those. Some companies are making tunes for NAs now, could check into that.

well the under glow is under my seats not under the car.. under the car would be to much.
the tinted taillights and headlights were just a idea if they were to dark and you cant see anything i was just going tom take them off.
for the power to my car i know their is not much to do unless i turbo it. but yeah in bought this car a few years ago and didnt put to much thought in to buying a turbo or a non turbo i just bought it cause i got it for cheap. i wish i looked a little more in to it be fore i bought a non turbo...

There is no "tint" that snaps on over the headlight. They make a film called xpel that is a protective covering for rocks, but that doesn't just go on and come off, the only other option is spray tint, and same thing with that, you can't really spray it on, and then if you don't like it, take it off.

And "turbo-ing" an NA, isn't as easy as it sounds, so I would scratch that. If you add courteous lights under the seat, that's not as bad.

Definitely go straight to the battery for power. Make sure you have a good ground. I don't know much about running subs, I'm not into the large amounts of bass. I have an infinity basslink which gives a good kick, but I have it set to more emphasize than over power. I would run a capacitor, but you said that you already have one.
