I've installed an 850 radio in my 940 and want to be sure I've spiced the wires together properly. The radio works fine but the button backlights stay on even when radio is off. There are two plugs, one is for all four speakers, 8 wires/four pairs, but there is a 9th wire, Orange/Green in that plug. My manual wiring diagram doesn't show that wire. It's currently spliced in so it gets power when the ignition is turned on but I'm not positive that how it should be wired. The only wires used in the 2nd plug are three ground wires (black); two Grey/Green wires, direct to battery; and a Yellow/Black & a Yellow/Brown that receive 12 volts when ignition is switched on. Any reassurance would be appreciated. TD
