In my opinion Its worth around 10- 11 I don't like the exhaust Mani. But he had to make a custom-built one idk i would want a ride it in at least a 20 min ride and check under the hood after that check oil and fluids but other than that the car made me drool lol wish I had the money its black!!!!

That car belongs to maciekb2002 on VS
He built that motor to push alot of power...
From what I understand he is starting a RWD project now.... I cant wait to see that one when its done
http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/topic...project-begin/
there is atleast 4 to 6k in the motor alone

being a 1995 volvo l will consider the mileage it has on it. l dont think more than half of the parts are stock parts. l will never give more than 8000 for the car. it looks nice though. this guy lives in babylon on long island,ny. he is pretty close to where am at.

Man, it is worth that for someone that wants a 850 race car. It would be better if it were awd. That's why he mentions 60-100 time. If you put your foot in it at 0, you wouldn't go anywhere. Just burn the tires up.

I wonder if it will be sold with the flat hood. There is another pic with a hood that needs painted.

I would never buy a car that modded but someone might. There is nothing T-5R-ish about that car. That means nothing!!!

That thing will eat up any V70R you will toss at it.

Yes, I think it is worth what he's asking for. I followed the build thread and everything was done right. It's a solid car. Besides, the turbo on any of our cars could fit inside that turbo with room to spare

I had a feeling that someone here would know about that car and there would be a thread about it.

From what I seen from the pics, it's likely NOT a real (oem) T-5R. I'd check the VIN. Should have a 58 in it instead of 57. A lot of people like tossing the R letter around anytime a car has mods that make it exceed 240 HP.

Hi rspi, I purchased my Yellow Nov 2011. all original except tires..... but need to replace many small items like engine mounts (I think), shocks etc... but runs fine and has good compression (185 - 175 psi) for 17 years old car. the body/paint are in excellent for this age but front and rear bumpers needs little attention... it's been garage all the time and CA car since new...so, no rust at all. it has a little ticking noise from lifter all the time and will replace oil sump seals/O-rings in two weeks. also, has "vibration" due to original engine/trans mounts and original shocks/struts.....but I have to replace these parts at some point anyway...so, not a big deal. the best part of this Yellow is.....no one modified yet...

nice man, Good job. you r lucky to have a one owner on this car. l got my 1997 850 R in excellent condition too. still has good compression and still runs great. can you post pictures of your T5-r? and the ticking thing, l have the same problem, l would recommend checking the oil pressure first before you proceed with the oil sump seals, because it is a pain in the butt to get the oil pan out of the way. you have to make sure that you have the right tools for it. l tried changing my seals too but when l dropped my pan the seals were in perfect conditions.mine doesnt tick when its cold but tick all the time when warm. l think l have a broken lifter and will take a look at it in the summer time.Good luck

Sounds awsome. When I got my yellow sedan it had 78,000 miles and had not been moded. Had synthetic in it and did not tick. Needed mounts, PCV, timing belt, exterior trim restoration, and exterior cleaned real good. I actually paid the same price and had a radiator installed immediatelly. Really enjoyed it as I am this wagon.
