ok i have a 1993 glt wagon and have put a whole in the rear bumper have got one from a later model but cant get mine off [:@]i think the welds have snapped on the captive nuts as the bolts just spin. have tried to wedge the bolts to get some grip on the nuts but no luck does any one have any ideas ?????

 

Haven't ever ran into this before.
Have you tried looking up there with a small mirror and a flashlight?

Maybe you can see whats going on and how to hold it.
