Default Rear caliper change pads Brake job

I just wanted to post this in case anyone tries to do their rear pads and arent sure how to remove the pads

Theres 2 pins that go thru the pads holding them on.
DO NOT PULL THE CALIPER IN HALF theres 4 bolts that hold the caliper together

You just want to pull the 2 bolts out and pull the calipper off. Be carefull with the solid brake
lines

Tap those little pins thru then use a flat head screwdriver on the inside of the head and tap them out softly w/hammer and screwdriver..dont damage the rubber on the end

To compress the pistons use a c clamp, even if it bites the edge of piston, just be slow and easy make sure its going down straight. if not..improvise or get the right tools

Had to post this...cauz I never seen these pins before
aND.........WHEN I SEARCHED i COULDNT FIND ANYTHING ABOUT THE REAR CALIPER

Thanks for some reason the search engine on this site went way down hill lately.

Good tip. I gotta do my brakes...It's really a simple job though. Just pop out those pins, compress the pistons and you can literally slide the pad in there.
