Default Rear door inner panel?

Are there any tricks to taking off the inner panel on one of the rear doors? I see 3 screws across the bottom but is there anything else I need to take off other than the handle? I have a small dent on the outer panel that I want to try to press out from the inside.

You'll need to carefully remove #26, which just pops off with three clips. Undo the T30 bolt behind that trim piece. You may want to remove the speaker, as one of the screws actually attaches to the door structure. Pull up on the door handle to remove, and you should be able to pull the panel after that. Don't pull too far, you'll still have to disconnect the wiring. Once all that is said and done, I don't think you'll have much access to the door skin.

[QUOTE=rspi;364850]Should be the same as the front.

I wasn't sure about hidden screws. I see three screws across the bottom and probably some behind the trim panel.

The speaker must be removed as the speaker housing goes pretty deep inside the door and will hinder you to take off the panel.
It's a pretty straight forward job:
- pull out the door handle
- take the door inlay or how it's called out (take care the 95 and olde modell have a diffenrent holding system, you need to "slide" it upwards in order to not damage the plastic parts, 96 and older are clipsed).
- take the speaker grille off, unscrew the speaker and remove it.
- take the 3x Torx 20 screws underneath the door panel out
- unscrew the big Torx 30 under the door inlay.
- if your car has manual windows take off the handle.

Now slide the door panel upwards. Dissconect the courtesy light and the power windows switch (if fitted).

When putting the door panel back take care not to damage the plastic trim around the door handle, it breaks very easily.

Got the panel off. the speaker screw seems to be the hidden screw on the rear panels. It didn't do me much good, I could see the back of the dent with an inspection mirror but now way to press on it. Oh well, another learning experience.
