Default rear sprayer info

Hope this helps someone that is trying to get their rear sprayer to work.
1) The first picture shows where the filter for the rear sprayer is located.
2) Second pictures shows the rear speaker that you have to access to get to the check valve.
3) Shows the check valve. I had to pull the hose down a little to get to it.
4) Shows the notch in the inner window frame.
5) These are the sprayer parts. I grabbed the clip with a pair of needle nose pliers where you can see it in the notch of the window frame and pulled it out a little. I then used a piece of wire to hold it so I didn't loose it in the frame. Next you pull out the sprayer and grab the hose so it doesn't slip back in then pull off the sprayer and insert a new one. Now put the sprayer back in and slide the clip back over the base and you are done. If you don't let the clip or hose drop into the frame there is no need to take everything apart and the job takes about 5 minutes.
I replaced the pump because mind was not running but then I got no water out of the sprayer so I replaced the filter, check valve and sprayer.

If you have a compressor you can usually reverse blow the nozzle and get anything out of them that's plugging or making them just drizzle.

Great photos and descriptions.

Where is the rear spray nozzle pump? Or does it get fed by the same pump as the front?

My front, including headlight nozzles work fine but nothing from the rear...?

Wagon uses a separate pump for the tailgate sprayer. Right front frame rail, down from headlight. Picture is with bumper removed.

You da man............ Thanks for that, had a good look and couldn't find anything that I thought was for the rear, thought that one was the front...............

Plan on testing the pump for power etc and if all good, blow through, in reverse with compressed air.......

Prince, you are the man. Love those pictures, the one with the car under water had me screaming today.

I would unplug the hoses at the pump to see if it sprays out there first.

Kissafrog glad you had a picture of the pump, I couldn't find the one I thought I had.
When I first checked the pump on my car I broke the plastic bracket that holds it in place. I found that I could take the pump apart and get it to run but a new pump was $14 from FCP so I bought that instead.

The reason I came here was for help. I've found that going to the right forum can save your butt on almost anything. Sometimes it's just that one warning, one picture or someone to bounce an idea off of that saves me from giving up or breaking it worse than when I started
