Default Rear Sun Screen

Hi,

Is there one specifically made for the 850's. I know there are universal ones but they don't fit well. I just need to know if the dealership has one for the 850s.

What year is your car? Is it a sedan or an estate?

I am not sure what you mean by rear sun screen.

Are you speaking of the type similar to those of the BWM and Lexus where it is in the rear window and is powered up and down? Or are you speaking of the security cargo cover that covers the rear compartment of the estate?

If you mean the security cargo cover, then yes, you can purchase one from a dealer for just over $300.

Have you called a dealership?

More info is required to give a better answer as we are not sure of the car your driving.

Hey - does anyone have that cargo cover? Is it nice? Worth it?

Any photos of what it looks like?

How does it secure when you pull it out? I like the idea of it under that little flap.

Is it actually 2 pieces?

We have the rear cargo cover/screen on our XC70. I think it is ok, but the wife LOVES it. So...it is worth it, to me.

It is like one of the old fashion blinds that grandma used to have. It is spring loaded so that whenfully extended, all you do is give it a little tug, holding tight, it will pull itself back up, or in the case of the cargo cover, toward the rear seat.

There is a place to mount it right behind the rear seats and there is a place to put the bar once it is fully extended just in front of the D pillar where the glass meets the D pillar.

It is simple to install, about ten seconds, and is a one peice unit.

I found one on eBay a while back for about $250 but had to pass due to engine failure []
