Hi,

I recently bought a 1997 Volvo 850 Wagon with 238,500KM on it. I enjoy the car alot, especially as it is my first.

I have noticed one problem however that is quite curious. The front console switch for the driver's side rear window does not work. The window itself works, when the button on the actual window is used, but the up-front one does not.

Any ideas?

A bunch of people have this issue (myself included). I haven't cared enough to fix it, but it's probably the driver's switch. My passenger side rear window has this problem. I looked into the switch and it was pretty expensive for little benefit. I tried calling some local junkyards too but couldn't find anyone who had the right car.
