96 850 GLT-The light no longer blinks along with the anti theft light on the radio. I've removed the light from the dash and the p/n is 6811571. after some research the part is called anything from a motion sensor, temperature sensor anti theft warning light, anyone know what it really is? It was easy to unplug now I'd like to replace it. Any information would be great. Thanks.

 

The alarm LED on the dash and the radio LED have nothing in common, they are completely separate. The dash LED should come on solid then begin to blink, when you arm the alarm. It is an LED and unlikely to be the problem. If you have any sensors that are not set when you arm the alarm the LED does not light so my guess is that you have a bad door, trunk or hood sensor.
