Remove rear shelf carpet on 850
I am working on an 850 sedan that has a broken seat belt.
I got one from a car with a mechanical failure at the salvage yard. Figured getting one from a wrecked car was a bad idea
But, I can't figure out how to get to the top mounting bolt. On the salvage yard car, the back window was busted out, and I just ripped the carpet padding around it.
On my car, I'd prefer to keep the carpet intact. But I'm not sure how to remove it.
I'm also pondering a complete interior swap, and would like to know how to get the carpet off the shelf in the 'donor' car in one piece, so I can reuse it.
Who has some words of wisdom?
Thanks!

In my expirence with other cars, not this one specifice, THe rear upper seat had to be removed to take the rear shelf out. Take a look between where the upper and lower seat cushions meet, check for bolts that hold the lower &/or upper section in. You may have to remove both seat parts to do it correctly.
Update:
To remove the carpet, you must remove the 8 8mm nuts that hold the 2 speakers down, as well as unhook 2 plastic clips that are visible after you fold the back seat backs down flat. Then, lift.
