Hi,

I drive a '97 Volvo 850. Recently, I noticed one of the tail light bulbs is burnt out and decided to replace it myself. I managed to access the panel through the trunk and haven't managed to get any further. How do I remove the bulb? I tried twisting it slightly but nothing happened. Am I supposed to remove the metal plates first?

Not sure which bulb it is, but generally you have to press the bulb in a little bit and twist it. it should come out if you do that.

Can you snap a picture of it and post it up. They should not be this hard to get out.

 

ibified was correct, i had to press the bulb in. i had a feeling it wasn't difficult but being that i have a tendency to break things i just wanted to be sure. thank you!
