Volvo 850 Made from 1993 to 1997, this Volvo line was available in both a wagon and a sedan, both with were graced with several trim levels.

Replacing, 850 calipers??

Default Replacing, 850 calipers??

my 1995 volvo 850 needs rear calipers, rotors and pads. i wanted to know if this is very hard to do myself. i am mechanically inclined, but have never done this before. has anyone??

It will be cake and take you about an hour to do maybe a little longer with bleeding the brakes.It is very simple to do.Why are you changing the calipers?Did a tire shop or someplace like that tell you that you need calipers?Most of the time you don't need them when they tell you that you do.They just like selling everything so they don't have people coming back complaining.

wow, thanks for the offer, thats really nice, as for why, the calipers siezed, and warped the rotors and the pads. as to why it happened i dont know. but i did not take it anywhere yet. i just drive my other car. i found this website that has the rebuilts for 50 bucks. http://www.alleurasianautoparts.com/OEMParts/volvo.asp

dont know how they are though.
