Default Replacing radiator fan - will Hayden fit ?

1995 Volvo 850 GLE wagon - the fan motor is toast (literally - black with melted windings)

I find a couple of Hayden fans online - 3670 and 3680 - that the seller says fit the 850. (the 3680, the turbo model)
When I look at Hayden's specs, the 3670 says diameter 10 5.5A and the 3680 diameter 12 8.8A with a motor depth of 2 5/8
When I measure the existing fan, the blades have a diameter of 15.5" and the cowling 17.5", with the motor being about 4.5" deep.

I don't mind kludging things a bit, and a small fan is better than no fan, but is this really a good replacement ? Is it electrically compatible with the Volvo ? (I don't mind cutting and splicing wires, but it has to at least be a compatible voltage/amperage)

Why not visit your local junkyard/recycler and get an used fan? Volvo fan pulls lots of air, not to mention it has shroud to fit nicely in front of the radiator, and drop in replacement.

Aftermarket fan is smaller, more expensive, doesn't cool as well, and doesn't fit without a lot of work.

I tried; they don't have any.

Hayden is 1/4 the price I was quoted for Volvo by a local supplier, and they don't have any stock anyway.

You may want to state your zip code, I can't believe there isn't a junkyard nearby you that have a 850 or S70/V70 with the fan you need.

Vancouver BC. Alpi's have a couple of scrapped 850's on their website but said they can't find any fans. There aren't a lot of Volvos here, and I don't want to drive for miles during the week.

Most of the "Volvo 850 fans" on eBay are Hayden. There was one genuine, used, for more money. I've ordered a Spectra CF46001 and I'll see how that goes - at least the size is right and the connectors and mounting lugs look right.
