It's been about 18 months on my Forever Black and it still looks very nice. I have started to dye other things that are plastic like the cover of my throttle body, etc.

I agree. I also used the "Showroom New" forever GRAY. It is holding up well. Can you recommend anything for the black rubber trim around the door windows? I hate to see it all deteriorate due to the sun.

I dyed mine with the Forever Black. I'm sure you can get the Showroom New - Black for that.

I used it to dye my load bars plastic feet. I wonder if you could use it to dye like the grab handles inside and the other miscellaneous interior trim pieces? They're plastic.

I used the Showroom New on the power switch buttons in my van...held up decent without any prep so it had finger oils on it. Stayed there about 6 months but I noticed it wearing yesterday. This time I will clean it and try again.

I used Showroom New on my 1995 Volvo GLT bumpers and door handles. There is no visible wear on either the handles or bumpers. I used the gray color. I put it on in 2010. There is no deterioration in color or any peeling. Just follow the directions on the bottle.
I just bought a bottle of the same in black to apply to all of the rubber trim on the outside and dashboard on an old 1994 Pontiac Sunbird. This stuff really works - I got the idea to use it from here on Volvoforums two years ago.

I have actually started using the Forever Black on plastic under the hood. Makes the plastic there look new. The TURBO air box, throttle cable cover, power steering res, timing belt cover, etc. All looks like new.

I doubt it would work well on the door handles, they seem to have some kind of coating on them. It did not work well on my daughters S70 mud flaps for the same reason. I am going to hit the windshield pillars. They are looking dull.

BTW, Those door panel handles do come off and can be changed. Not sure of the price yet, I'll check later today.

Looks like Showroom new is no longer available. Sad.
